What is Seva Circle? 

Seva Circle is a set of community volunteering groups by Youth for Seva (YFS) that offers a structured yet flexible platform for individuals to volunteer locally and consistently.

It empowers citizens to take ownership of issues that matter to their neighborhoods—through collective action, shared responsibility, and a spirit of service.

A Seva Circle is formed in a city, town, or locality where a group of volunteers come together with the intent to:

  • Understand local community needs
  • Design and execute service activities
  • Inspire more people to participate
  • Build sustainable models of civic engagement

It is not a formal organization or legal entity but a community of practice supported and mentored by Youth for Seva.
